DESCRIPTION
Velzyn Wear manufactures custom sleeveless baseball jerseys — the vest worn over an undershirt — for brands, distributors and clubs, cut and sewn in Sialkot, Pakistan, to your artwork and your label.
A sleeveless jersey is not a jersey with the sleeves removed. The armhole is a different shape, it is finished differently, and it is the part of the garment a buyer should judge it by.
The armhole is the whole garment
On a sleeved jersey the armhole is hidden inside a seam. On a vest it is on show, it moves with every swing, and it has to hold its shape through a season of washing.
We finish ours with a bound armhole cut on the correct grain so it lies flat instead of rolling or rippling. You can have the binding in self-fabric, so a sublimated pattern carries right to the edge, or in a contrast colour that frames the arm and matches the neckline.
When your sample arrives, stretch the armhole and let it go. It should return flat, with no wave along the edge and no raw fabric visible on the inside. That single check separates a properly patterned vest from a cut-down jersey.
It is worn over something — design for that
Nobody wears a sleeveless baseball jersey on its own. There is a compression shirt or a long-sleeve undershirt beneath it, and that changes two decisions.
Colour. The undershirt is visible on both arms for the whole game, so it is part of the design, not an accessory. Pick it at the same time as the jersey.
Fit. A vest has to sit over another layer without pulling at the armhole. We grade our sleeveless patterns with that layer in mind, so don't compare the chest measurement directly against a sleeved jersey.
If you sell the jersey, sell the layer with it. We make custom compression shirts in the same colours and fabrics, and a two-piece look is an easier sell than a single vest.

Printing and decoration
Most sleeveless jerseys are fully sublimated, and the open front panel takes a large chest design without a placket in the way. Where the pattern meets the armhole binding, we align it on the pattern piece before cutting so the design does not stop dead at the edge.
Tackle twill numbers and lettering work here as well, usually on the back, and pair well with a solid or pinstripe body.
Fabric
Bodies run in performance polyester interlock, with mesh panels available where a team wants more airflow — and on a vest, airflow is usually the point. We stock several weights, from light tournament fabric to heavier traditional builds. The exact weight is confirmed on your quote and printed on your sample's spec sheet, so what you approve is what you receive. Send a garment you want matched and we will source to it.
Ordering
Ten pieces per design, with sizes, player names and numbers free to vary inside that. Samples take 7–10 days from approved artwork, bulk 2–4 weeks after you sign the sample off.
Terms are 50% deposit to confirm the order and the balance before dispatch, by bank transfer to our company account. Western Union and MoneyGram are available for samples and small first orders.

Questions buyers ask about sleeveless jerseys
Is a sleeveless baseball jersey the same as a baseball vest?
Yes. Vest is the older term and still common in the trade; sleeveless jersey is what most US buyers type. Both mean a jersey with bound armholes, worn over an undershirt.
Can we order matching undershirts?
Yes. We produce compression shirts and long-sleeve undershirts in the same colours and fabrics, so the two pieces can be quoted and shipped together.
Will the armhole lose its shape after washing?
Not if the binding is cut on the correct grain and set properly. Test it on your sample: stretch the armhole, release it, and check that it lies flat with no wave along the edge.
Should we size a vest the same as a sleeved jersey?
No. It is worn over another layer, so our sleeveless patterns are graded with that in mind. Use the sleeveless chart rather than comparing it to a sleeved jersey's measurements.
