Custom V-Neck Baseball Jerseys

Take the buttons off a baseball jersey and two things happen. The front becomes one uninterrupted panel, and the neckline becomes the only piece of real construction on the garment. Get that neckline right and this is the cleanest jersey in the range.

Nothing in the way of the design

There is no placket, no button line and no seam splitting the chest. A V-neck baseball jersey is the closest thing in baseball to a blank canvas, which is why the loudest designs in travel and tournament ball nearly always land on this style.

Artwork can run edge to edge and side seam to side seam. Fades cross the body without interruption. A crest can sit dead centre without being measured around an opening. If your brand sells on graphics rather than tradition, this is the jersey to put them on.

The V is the only real craft here

Because there is so little else to build, the neckline is where quality shows. Three things decide it:

• Depth of the V. Too shallow and it looks like a crew neck that slipped; too deep and it gapes under a chest protector. Tell us the depth you want in inches, or send a jersey and we will match it.
• What the neck is finished with. Self-fabric binding keeps the sublimated pattern running into the neckline. A rib trim in a contrast colour gives the collegiate look instead. Both are cut to order.
• The point of the V. Where the two ends of the neckband meet is the one spot on this jersey that fails. On your sample, pull the neckline gently and look at that point. It should lie flat with no pucker and no exposed stitching.

That last check takes ten seconds and tells you more about a factory than any certificate.

Sublimation, edge to edge

V-necks are almost always fully sublimated, and the artwork is positioned on the pattern pieces before cutting rather than on a flat picture of a shirt. Supply vector files with a little bleed past the seam lines and the design will carry cleanly around the body and into the sleeves.

Tackle twill is possible here too, usually for back numbers, though most brands choosing a V-neck have already decided the design is the point.

Where a V-neck earns its place in a range

Tournament and travel programmes wear them because they are quick on and off between games. Retail lines use them as the fan version of a team jersey, since nothing about a V-neck says "uniform" when it is worn with jeans. And softball programmes take the same jersey in their own cut, which makes this a useful style if you sell into both sports.

Fabric

The body is performance polyester interlock, which is what takes sublimation cleanly and holds colour. Mesh panels can be built in where a team plays through heat. We run several weights, from light tournament cloth through to heavier traditional builds, and the weight you get is written on your quote and on the spec sheet that comes with your sample — approve it and that is what the bulk run uses. Ordering, sizes and your label

Minimum is ten pieces per design, with sizes, names and numbers varying freely inside it. A sample takes 7–10 days from approved artwork; bulk follows in 2–4 weeks, and never starts before you sign the sample off.

We work on 50% deposit with the balance settled before dispatch, paid by bank transfer into our company account. For samples and small opening orders, Western Union and MoneyGram are also fine.

Youth and adult grading go in the same order — every measurement is in the baseball size charts. Jerseys ship under your own woven label and packaging. Distributors buying across styles should read the wholesale production terms.
